Jim McShane, PE
Founder & Chairman
Jim serves as Founder & Chairman of McShane Construction Company. Jim’s leadership, creativity and intuitive knowledge of design/build construction propelled the organization into one of the nation’s premier construction service firms.

As Chief Executive Officer, Molly manages the overall operations and resources of The McShane Companies. She focuses on creating, planning, implementing and integrating its strategic direction to achieve operational excellence.

Dan McShane, Esq.
Chief Strategy Officer & General Counsel
Dan serves as Chief Strategy Officer & General Counsel for The McShane Companies. In his role, he coordinates strategic planning and risk management strategies while overseeing the company’s legal matters on a national basis and provides in-house legal advice to the firm, offering guidance in the strategic decision-making process.

Mat joined McShane Construction in 2000 and worked his way up through the company, assuming the role of President in 2021. Over the past 20 years, he has proven himself a strategic visionary and has demonstrated the utmost dedication to furthering the company’s mission.

Bob is responsible for overseeing the finances of McShane Construction Company. He directs the firm’s overall financial planning process and manages the firm’s relationships with the financial community.

Scott is an experienced construction professional with nearly 25 years of commercial and multi-family project experience in the Southeast and Midwest Regions.

Min serves as Senior Vice President & Regional Manager of McShane Construction Company’s Southwest Regional Office and oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm’s regional activities. He joined the firm in 1999 and distinguished himself through excellence in his project management and work ethic, resulting in the professional advancement to Vice President in 2016 and Senior Vice President & Regional Manager in 2020.

As Vice President & Director of Nashville Operations, Jason oversees the day-to-day operations of McShane Construction Company’s Nashville Regional Office. Jason joined McShane in 2000 and contributes more than 20 years of experience managing projects in the multi-family, industrial, commercial and education sectors. He manages the firm’s construction operations in the Nashville area and cultivates local relationships.

As Senior Vice President of McShane Construction Company’s Southwest Regional Office, Jim oversees the firm’s business development activity, is involved in pre-construction and maintains client relationships. Joining McShane in 2018, he possesses 20+ years of construction experience within the multi-family residential and commercial construction markets.

Tom joined McShane Construction Company in 2003 and has since risen to an executive position as Regional Vice President – Industrial. His detailed approach and unique understanding of the complex requirements for today’s industrial and commercial environments has made him a key resource in the firm’s design/build and general construction process within the warehouse/distribution, food processing, speculative industrial, light manufacturing and office sectors.

As Regional Vice President – Multi-Family at McShane Construction Company, David leads a team of project professionals who are tasked with delivering high-quality construction assignments, from pre-construction to closeout, targeting the multi-family, senior housing and affordable housing markets throughout the Midwest. He is also responsible for pursuing and securing new construction assignments across the region.

As Vice President of Human Resources, Jennifer serves as the company’s senior advisor and thought leader on all aspects of human resources. Through her strategic leadership of recruitment, talent management, and compensation and benefits, she ensures that The McShane Companies continues to attract, retain and develop talent to support the firm’s overall growth strategy.

As Vice President of Finance for McShane Construction Company, Ellen oversees the financial management and accounting functions for the firm, as well as manages the firm’s relationships with outside financial entities, including its bonding and insurance relationships.

As McShane Construction Company’s Vice President of Safety and Risk Management, Dennis is responsible for verifying that safe working conditions are maintained on every McShane project site. He conducts periodic job site visits with the project superintendent and participates in all job site OSHA inspections and follow-up conferences.

Vic joined McShane Construction Company in 1999 and offers over 25 years of extensive field expertise and on-site management experience. As Vice President – Field Operations, he manages McShane’s superintendents located within the Chicago area and the regional traveling superintendents who provide site supervision for projects throughout the midwest.

Carolyn joined The McShane Companies in 2021 with more than 20 years of legal experience. As Corporate Counsel, she is involved in the negotiation and interpretation of owner contracts, subcontracts, and other agreements.

Dave joined McShane Construction Company in 2013 to direct the pre-construction efforts for the Southeast Region. In his role, Dave oversees a team of pre-construction professionals and supports McShane’s comprehensive pre-construction requirements for numerous projects within the multi-family, industrial, office and healthcare markets. He is responsible for estimating, preliminary budgeting, the bidding process, procurement, maintaining relationships with the subcontractor community, value engineering, life cycle cost analyses, constructability reviews and project scheduling.

As Vice President, Brian leads a team of project professionals in the construction of multi-family, senior living and affordable housing developments throughout the Southeast. Brian joined McShane in 2011 and contributes more than 15 years of experience managing all aspects of the general construction process including constructability evaluation and analyses, review and confirmation of subcontractor bid submittals and construction efficiency studies.

Mark joined McShane in 2007 and offers more than 35 years of on-site experience directing the general construction process. As Vice President – Southeast Field Operations, he manages McShane’s superintendents located throughout the Southeast.

As Director of Information Technology, Catherine is responsible for the management, strategy and execution of IT infrastructure. She ensures that appropriate technology and infrastructure is available to support the achievement of business goals and objectives. She develops strategic plans and risk management strategies to support the installation of technology products that enhance business performance.

Alison Gorham
Director of Wisconsin Market
Alison serves as the Director of Wisconsin Market for McShane Construction Company and leads the firm’s Southern Wisconsin Regional Office. She joined McShane in 2012 and was promoted to her current role to provide management assistance in the design/build and general construction process for the firm’s Wisconsin operations.

Ken contributes over 25 years of construction experience within the Southeast Region and on a national basis. Since joining the firm in 2007, he has played an integral role in the growth of McShane Construction Company’s Southeast operations, specifically within the multi-family and office markets.
