Tinley Park Convention Center
McShane Construction Company provided the design/build construction services for the 65,000-square-foot Tinley Park Convention Center, the Chicago Southland’s largest convention venue.
The facility offers a 135′ clear span and 35′ clear height in the Grand Exhibition Center to maximize flexibility and space configurations within this sizable exhibit area.
McShane also constructed a 5,000-square-foot full-service food preparation kitchen and adjacent banquet area within the building that services both the convention center and the adjacent Holiday Inn hotel. An enclosed pedestrian walkway and promenade that connects the convention center to the hotel was also completed.
