The Edge
McShane Construction Company was selected to provide the general construction services for The Edge, a 289-bed off-campus student housing complex on behalf of developer, Gilbane Development Company.
The new seven-story, 83-unit student housing residence is located near Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. Residences feature high-end finishes and in-unit washers and dryers.
The podium style complex features a two-story, below-grade parking component and numerous tenant amenities, including a computer lounge, bike storage, an outdoor courtyard with gathering areas and a fitness center.
McShane was awarded this high-profile student housing assignment after its successful completion of 23 Twenty Lincoln, also developed by Gilbane.
