McShane Construction Company was selected by Daveri Development Group and Kenneth Young Center to provide the comprehensive construction services for PhilHaven, a 50-unit affordable and supportive living residence in Wheeling, Illinois.
The first floor features the property’s on-site management offices and a variety of community spaces such as a common room with a kitchen, a computer lab, an exercise room, a lounge, a reading nook and a bike storage room. The two additional floors are comprised of 50 private residences in one-, two- and three-bedroom configurations complete with contemporary fixtures and finishes.
The supportive living residence was constructed in accordance with Enterprise Green Communities and boasts numerous sustainable features such as an energy efficient HVAC system and LED lighting, among others.
