Naperville Public Works Center
McShane Construction Company was selected as the design/builder by the City of Naperville to construct a 213,067-square-foot multi-purpose public works service center.
The LEED-Certified facility is located on a 22-acre site and was the first ‘green’ building of its kind in the city.
The service center was constructed with precast panels and features a curved roof and clerestory space above the roofline of the reception area and the employee entrance.
The building features administrative and office areas, fleet services and operations, heated and unheated storage areas, welding, paint and sign shops and the Naper Settlement archival storage area.
