Fairhaven Crossing
McShane Construction Company completed the construction of Fairhaven Crossing apartments in Mundelein, Illinois. The assignment included the renovation and new construction of an existing single-story industrial building into a three-story affordable housing residence located on a 1.8-acre site.
Fairhaven Crossing consists of 40 apartment units in one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans across three floors. On-site amenities include a community room, a computer room, a lounge and bike storage.
The apartment complex was designed and constructed to comply with Enterprise Green Communities criteria and features sustainable elements that include Energy Star appliances, water conserving fixtures, efficient interior and exterior lighting, low-VOC products and recycled/regional materials.
