McShane Construction Company provided the design/build services for the 62,500-square-foot build-to-suit Defense Acquisition University, located at 7115 Old Madison Pike in Huntsville, Alabama.

Triad Properties executed a lease with the U.S. General Services Administration on behalf of tenant, Defense Acquisition University, a division of the Department of Defense that provides mandatory, assignment specific and continuing education courses for military and civilian personnel.

McShane constructed the facility with a brick and glass exterior and state-of-the-art interior finishes. The structure features a number of green building techniques and was designated LEED-Gold by the U.S. Green Building Council.
