McShane Construction Company was selected by M&R Development to provide the construction services for Central Station Apartments, an 80-unit, four-story, LEED-Gold certified mixed-use development.

The complex is located at 1700-1722 Central Street in Evanston, Illinois, and provides 117,710 square feet of contemporary rental units on floors two through four together with a 10,700-square-foot retail component on the ground level.

The residences range from studios to three-bedroom units and offer fully-featured kitchens, granite countertops, in-unit washers and dryers and hardwood flooring.

McShane also constructed tenant amenity areas including an exercise room, a cyber café, a lounge, patio spaces, integrated parking and a green roof on the second floor.
