McShane Breaks Ground on 21st Springs Assignment

McShane Construction Company has begun construction on Springs at Eastmark in Mesa, Arizona. The project is the firm’s 21st Springs assignment for Continental Properties. McShane is currently underway with two other projects for Continental in the Phoenix area: Springs at Deer Valley in Phoenix and Springs at Cooley Station in Gilbert. The firm also recently completed Springs at Red Mountain in Mesa.

“It’s been an honor to build Continental’s first three Springs communities in the state of Arizona, and we’re very excited to get started on the fourth,” stated Jim Kurtzman, Senior Vice President at McShane. “Like all of Continental’s developments, Springs at Eastmark will be a beautiful community with lots to offer its residents.”

Positioned on a 15-acre site, Springs at Eastmark will incorporate 276 units in a garden-style community. The development will also offer 2,500 square feet of amenity space with a clubhouse, outdoor swimming pool, fire pit area, two barbeque areas, a dog washing station, car wash and basketball court.

The two- and three-story buildings will feature wood frame construction with a stucco and stone exterior. Inside, tenants will enjoy high-end finishes and features, including granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, in-unit washers and dryers, beverage islands and 36″ soaker bathtubs. ADA and upgraded units will also be available.

Continental Properties owns and operates 60+ Springs communities across the country. The company believes that its approach to developing multi-family communities offers a long-term investment for both the company and the surrounding area. The natural exterior finishes and indigenous plants used in their communities, combined with their innovative interior space planning, showcases practicality, privacy and peace of mind for residents.

Construction is scheduled to be completed in October 2022. The architect of record is Huitt-Zollars.
