McShane Construction Company is pleased to announce the completion of Pacific Distribution Center in Patterson, California.
The center is strategically placed at the southwest corner of Baldwin Road and Keystone Boulevard and covers 34.5 acres of land. The distribution center is designed to accommodate between one and four companies that need warehouse and distribution space. It is located in a business-friendly community with easy access to the I-580 Freeway via I-5 and proximity to ports and consumer markets.
Pacific Distribution Center is a cross-dock concrete tiltwall facility featuring a 36′ clear height, 60′ x 56′ bay spacing, 112 dock doors, four drive-in doors, an ESFR sprinkler system, 7″ reinforced concrete floors and a wood deck roof that includes 224 skylights. The 712,130-square-foot center could employ more than 250 workers.
McShane was also responsible for site improvements including parking for 356 vehicles, 250 trailer parking stalls, a traffic lane on Park Center Drive and a city sidewalk on Keystone Boulevard.
“When it comes to the success of distribution centers, location matters,” remarked Jeffrey A. Raday, PE, President of McShane Construction. “Pacific Distribution center is located in the bay area, just an hour east of San Francisco, San Jose and Oakland. Because of this location, we expect to see this facility thrive, just like many of the other centers in the business park.”
McShane completed the Pacific Distribution Center on behalf of an ownership joint venture between Keystone Corporation and WPT Capital Partners. HPA Inc. was the project architect for this design-build assignment.
