Notre Dame Athletics Center
McShane Construction Company was selected to provide comprehensive design/build services for the Notre Dame Athletics Center in South Bend, Indiana.
Construction of the facility was completed in five phases to coincide with the university’s athletic schedules. The project included the renovation of the existing Loftus Building and the construction of the 95,740-square-foot Don F. and Flora Guglielmino Family Athletics Center.
The center features offices for the football coaches and staff, team auditorium and meeting rooms, athletic trainer facilities, strength and conditioning stations, equipment rooms and locker rooms.
Architectural services and space planning for the project were provided by Solomon Cordwell Buenz & Associates Inc. and SportsPLAN Studio.
