Hayward 92 Industrial Center
McShane Construction Company provided the comprehensive design/build construction services for Hayward 92 Industrial Center, a 236,976-square-foot build-to-suit distribution facility for a Fortune 50 company in Hayward, California.
The building features a 32′ clear height, 61 dock doors, seven drive-in doors, 125′ truck court, generous 52′ x 50′ column spacing with a 60′ speed bay, 3,000 amp electrical service and an ESFR sprinkler system.
The development also includes a 1,400-square-foot security building at the entrance of the property and an office component that encompasses several private offices, meeting rooms and a safety training area.
Designed and constructed to meet LEED Certification and California Title 24 standards, the contemporary industrial building features numerous sustainable elements including LED lights, water efficient landscaping, recycled and regional materials and an extensive construction waste management program with 95% of the waste recycled.
The complex site location is situated near the Eden Landing Ecological Reserve and a portion of the development included wetlands that were restored by McShane.
