Midtown Square
McShane Construction Company was selected by Trammell Crow Company to complete Midtown Square, a 138-unit, four-story mixed-use development located at 990 Church Street in downtown Glenview, Illinois.
The project required the demolition of four buildings located on the site prior to the new construction of the residence. Midtown Square features 101 one- and 37 two-bedroom units on floors two through four. Additionally, 10,500 square feet of retail space and 4,800 square feet of common area, including a fitness center, occupy the ground level.
The building incorporates a masonry and HardiePanel exterior with hanging aluminum balconies.
An underground parking structure was also constructed to accommodate parking for 104 vehicles with additional surface parking available for 143 vehicles. McShane also completed sitework including landscaping, streetscaping and an underground detention pond.
