McShane Construction Company was selected by Continental Properties to build Springs at Port Wentworth, a 252-unit apartment community in Port Wentworth, Georgia. This marks McShane’s 24th project with Continental Properties.
“We’re proud to continue our longstanding partnership with Continental Properties on Springs at Port Wentworth,” commented Dave Meadows, Vice President & Regional Manager at McShane. “This development reflects nearly two decades of collaboration with Continental Properties, bringing to life a community that combines quality construction with modern design.”
Positioned on a 20-acre site at the southwest corner of Highway 21 and Rice Mill Road, the community will integrate one two-story and six three-story garden-style apartment buildings with Hardie panel exteriors. The development offers modern living in a natural setting, with expansive green spaces and woods surrounding the property.
“Continental is very excited to be back in the Savannah market with our long-standing partner McShane and the many strong team members out of the Auburn office.” Shared Brian Nick, Vice President of Construction at Continental Properties.
Residents will enjoy an array of resort-inspired amenities, including a central clubhouse with a fitness center, an outdoor swimming pool, a fire pit, barbeque stations, pergolas, a dog park, a car wash, and a walking trail.
The community will offer a diverse selection of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans. Each home will showcase upscale finishes including granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and kitchen islands. First-floor residences will feature private entrances, while upper-level homes will include screened-in balconies. Sixty upgraded units will boast quartz countertops, larger refrigerators, custom closets, soaking bathtubs, and upgraded bathroom fixtures.
Completion of Springs at Port Wentworth is expected for May 2027. The Preston Partnership is the architect of record.
