President Mat Dougherty received the Marquette University Opus College of Engineering Professional Achievement Award. The award is part of the university’s Alumni National Awards program, which honors extraordinary alumni who embody Marquette’s mission of excellence, faith, leadership, and service. Mat joined McShane as a project engineer following his graduation from Marquette in 2000 and very quickly proved his dedication and determination. His hard work and strong leadership resulted in a number of promotions, culminating in his promotion to president in 2021.
