Cristo Rey St. Martin College Prep received an Award of Merit from Engineering News-Record Midwest in the K-12 Education Category.
McShane partnered with architecture firm JGMA to transform an abandoned Kmart store into a state-of-the-art charter high school for students with limited financial resources. Located in Algonquin, Illinois, the school now incorporates 97,000 square feet, including classrooms, laboratories, offices, a cafeteria, a library, a chapel a fitness center and a gymnasium with a performing arts stage.
